Prior to acquiring Recruiting Options on January 1, 2000, Steve held Vice President, Client Services positions with Right Management Consultants and Russell, Montgomery & Associates. Previous to his consulting career, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in human resources leadership with two Fortune 50 companies (General Electric Company and Raytheon Company) and an international Japanese firm (Denso Manufacturing, Tennessee, Inc.).

Preceding his career in business and industry, Steve served as Director of Career Planning and Placement and Adjunct Instructor for Loyola College in Baltimore, MD.

Steve received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling and Personnel Administration from the University of Maryland. In addition, he holds an Advanced Graduate Status Certificate (A.G.S.) in Counseling and Therapy from Johns Hopkins University.

Steve has earned certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). He has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 1979.  He serves as Emeritus State President of the Virginia SHRM State Council.
