Our Search Consultants research and identify the most qualified HR professionals for a client's specific opening. Our job is to narrow down a long list of possible candidates to approximately 5-10 of the most highly qualified. We consider this task to be the most critical component of a search and absolutely crucial to the successful placement of a candidate.

Potential candidates are pre-screened and presented to the client after we have determined that each one meets the position requirements, is amenable to the proposed salary and location parameters and is interested in interviewing for the opportunity.  The client is then responsible for scheduling and conducting face-to-face interviews, performing background checks, handling salary negotiations and extending job offers.

Will you send us applicants from our competitors?  

Absolutely. Our Search Consultants will identify candidates in many ways - through direct sourcing, networking, advertisement, our resume database, online resume databases, web-based marketing, professional associations, etc.


How many resumes will we receive and when? 

Typically, our clients receive 2-3 highly qualified candidates within 2 weeks. These are applicants who meet the job requirements, are amenable to the proposed salary and location parameters and are interested in interviewing for your position. Additional candidates are presented based on
the feedback provided on this benchmark group.

What type of experience does your senior management team possess?  

Our Senior Consultant, Steve Zimmerman, is a certified HR professional, SPHR, and has more than 25 years of HR Generalist, leadership and international experience with premier companies such as General Electric, Raytheon, Right Management Consultants and Challenger, Gray & Christmas, Inc. 

Who are your clients?

All of our clients are for-profit corporations. Many are Fortune 500 conglomerates with sales volumes in excess of $10B. Others are smaller, growing Fortune 1000 companies.

  Is there a fee to submit a resume to Recruiting Options?

o. Our consulting services are paid for by our clients.

I want to submit a resume. Will it automatically be presented to companies with openings?

No.
However, if it is determined that you are one of the most highly-qualified applicants for a specific job, you will be contacted directly by one of our Search Consultants. You will always know if your resume is leaving our office.

I've sent my resume to Recruiting Options. My background and experience perfectly matches one of your advertised openings, but no one has called me. Why haven't I heard from you?

Please keep in mind that we do not send our clients dozens of resumes in hopes that out of a large po
ol of candidates, someone will get hired. Our goal as consultants is to identify the "most highly-qualified candidates" for the job based on the client's preferences (i.e., local candidates, like industry, Masters degree, HR certifications, competitor experience, etc.). After reviewing hundreds of applicants, the short list will include approximately 5-10 candidates. While you may be qualified, you simply may not be as qualified as others.

Recruiting Options has presented me on a position. Will you still consider me for HR opportunities with other client companies?

Yes. As long as you are not in the final stages of the interview process with one of our clients, we will absolutely consider you for all viable openings.
